The effect is charming, but expensive, because you have to buy a tilt-shift lens.Here&#8217;s a nice little tutorial for faking the same effect using Photoshop. The results are very nice.  <br clear="all" /><a target="_blank" href="http://recedinghairline.co.uk/tutorials/fakemodel/" >Link</a>  <a target="_blank" href="http://www.frogbeater.com/" >Scott Froschauer</a> says:</p>
<p>While purchasing a &#8220;real&#8221; tilt-shift (as you were calling it, in my business we call it a &#8220;swing and tilt&#8221;) is too expensive for most of us, there is a cheap alternative. For about $100 you can get a <a target="_blank" href="http://www.lensbabies.com/" >Lensbaby</a>, which is a super analog lens. No focus marks, manual apeture (I mean real manual.) I&#8217;ve been shooting with one for over a year and it is easily my favorite single lens (particularly on the bang/buck ratio.)</p>
